The Liverpool-based Alternative Groove Rockers are to release their Debut Album 'WHAT WE FEAR THE MOST' on Friday 26th April 2024.
Planet Rock ‘The Rocks’ award winners, Attic Theory effortlessly display their undeniable skills on full throttle, by unveiling their highly anticipated debut album, 'WHAT WE FEAR THE MOST' on 26.04.2024. This 11-track odyssey invites listeners on a thrilling journey, filled with explosive riffs, melodic rock and roll, and a bold commentary on modern life.
'WHAT WE FEAR THE MOST' features the singles 'Violent Delight', 'Tattooed Heart', 'Narrow Lines', and 'Papier-Mâché', which includes a collaboration with Kevin Martin of the multi-platinum selling rock band Candlebox and gained significant recognition, being named Planet Rock Radio's New Rock Show TRACK OF THE WEEK and topping the Shazam charts in China, Canada, and America. Additionally, it reached an impressive number 42 on the iTunes alternative chart in France.
The album also includes the beautiful focus track ‘The Legacy’ and welcomes the band's new bass player, Lucy Ellen, on piano and backing vocals. Lead singer Lewis Wright shares his thoughts on welcoming Lucy into the group, stating, “Lucy is an extraordinary musician, her performance on the track is truly awe-inspiring.” Wright further adds, “Having previously played with us at Firevolt Festival, Manchester, Lucy was the only individual we envisioned as our newest band member.”
‘The Legacy’ is a reflective and poignant song that explores the desire to leave a lasting impact through artistic expression and the emotions that linger even after one's voice fades away. It emphasises the importance of cherishing memories and the emotions evoked through art.
